It’s been over ten long years for Eternia fans, who have been clamoring for more music since the release of 2010’s classic, At Last with producer MoSS. But as you can hear on “Most PPL,” the wait was absolutely worth it and it’s sounding like Eternia has another flat-out classic project on the books.
This time, she has teamed up with Rel McCoy who produced the entirety of FREE including the feel-good, uplifting instrumental on “Most PPL” also providing background vocals on the song. We get to see that energy come to life in the track’s video directed by Mark Carrenceja of Noisemaker Media, who captures Eternia showing love to her day ones while walking through Astoria, Queens. It’s a block she lived on for eight years—the longest single location of her entire life—and it holds significance in her heart.
“It’s where I was living when I experienced the greatest height of my rap career to date,” she explains. “I hope the energy and spirit of that place and time in my life translates into this video and is felt by those who watch.”
Also, in true creative fashion, Eternia was putting the finishing touches on this record while creating new life. Yes, the music video for “Most PPL” boasts a five-months-pregnant Eternia for the glow-up.
