Deuce Ellis Takes Viewers Behind-The-Scenes In His “Electric Soul” Video

Deuce Ellis’ 2020 album “Midnight Ouroboros” was released in conjunction with a self-published comic book and a signature pair of luxury sneakers. So, while it seems like it might be hard to top that roll out, he went even harder with his most recent LP “Acid.”

The Brooklyn transplant dropped a capsule clothing collection that included tees, hoodies, sweat pants, and two colorways of a new pair of fashion-forward kicks. Further, to promote what many are calling his best work-to-date, Deuce advertised “Acid” on a digital billboard in Times Square and had a two-part album release party that started with a vegan cookout and performances at Rotten Island Records in Bushwick and ended with a smoke out in Times Square.

All that to say this, to cap off his “Acid” promo campaign, Deuce has put together a video for album highlight “Electric Soul” that includes footage from his capsule collection fashion shoot, his Rotten Island Records performance, and his trippy Times Square billboard ad. Directed by Trevor Lang, the visuals give heads a behind-the-scenes peek at the Herculean effort Deuce put behind his new 11-track project.
