Premiere: Rakaa Joins Born Allah on Zpu-Zilla Produced Banger, “Jabril (Let the Horns Blow)”

Weekly Rap Gods is pleased to premiere the debut album leak, “Jabril (Let the Horns Blow),” from Cali rhyme veteran Born Allah’s forthcoming EP, Analog Baby, produced entirely by German producer, Zpu-Zilla.

The triumphant single pairs Born with his fellow Mid-City, L.A. brethren, Rakaa (Dilated Peoples). The two go back to the era of the mid-‘90s, but it was ironically Zilla who pushed for the collab. And the timing could not have been more perfect as Born reached out to Rakaa just after the Dilated emcee made a quick interaction with one of his IG posts. The two vets caught up, discussed the track, and shortly after the track came to fruition.

The end result is something we could all be thankful for as Zilla’s horns heavy banger provides the fuel for the two heavy hitters to spit their battle tested verses. This is one of those joints you’re gonna have to run back, so you might wanna keep that replay button on lock.

“Jabril” can be streamed right here courtesy of WRG, as well as through all major DSPs. In addition to Rakaa, Analog Baby also includes the talents of DJ Nu-Mark and DJ Mark Luv. The six track EP is available now for pre-order via Amazon Music through Born’s own imprint, The Church of Hip Hop & Financial Prosperity.
