New Video: Ill Conscious + Mute Won “Mutiny”

Baltimore next-level spitter Ill Conscious and Camden, NJ beat-maker Mute Won released a new video this morning. “Mutiny” (Directed by Trill Is Bliss) was filmed in Ill’s hood in Baltimore (and features cameos by brethren Dirt Platoon and Shef Kutz).  Mute’s thick sonic back-drop is the perfect foil for Ill Conscious who fires off a long verse that covers everything from inner city poverty to Coronavirus and the stigma of immunizations for children.

“Mutiny” is the first leak from the forthcoming project from Ill and Mute, Acres Of Diamonds which will drop later this spring.

Hailing from Camden, New Jersey Mute Won is the younger brother of emcee/producer Fel Sweetenberg who is considered a member of Dirt Platoon.  Speaking on the link-up Ill said “Since Dirt and Fel are linked-up, Mute and I decided to do something together as well.  Fel and Mute have a friendly competition with beat-making and I have to say I think Mute is winning currently.  Everytime I think we completed this project, he sends me more beats and I realize I have to get those on the album as well.”
