Rico Tellem Weaves a Street Tale On “Bishop Killed Raheem”

Niagara Falls, NY emcee Rico Tellem knows the streets favor no one.  In his newly released video for his single “Bishop Killed Raheem” he spins a tale as raw and reconizable as Donald Goines about betrayal from those closest to you.

These twists are reflected in the video (Directed by Mathew Synclair) and obviously the title is a reference to one of the pivotal plot points of the classic 1992 film Juice.

“Bishop Killed Raheem” is taken from Rico’s recently released solo debut album, Rico’s Law which is available digitally now.

The emcee has been making noise up north since his early teens as part of the group D.N.A (Dez NI**AS Amazin) to more recently with Lather Gang (a trio made of Tellem, Coach Hilson & January Twelfth). In 2012 Lather Gang’s track “Straight Fuckin became a hood smash through the upstate region.
