As we are still reeling off the new year celebrations and all, Boston’s very own M-Dot drops a quick reminder on his new poignant track/video titled “Days Are All the Same.” The Hi-Tek produced record is a harrowing look at life in the age of social media infatuation and the continuous rise of consumerism. M-Dot doesn’t mince his words and details how technology has shifted the culture in more ways than one. We are more obsessed with virtual validation and curbing our inner desires by buying worthless products online as we slowly lose touch with reality. It may sound gloomy, but sometimes we all need that good old reality check every now and then.
“Days Are All The Same” is a precursor to M-Dot’s sequel full-length Ego & The Enemy: II set for release 2020.
