Apollo Brown Drops a Serious Love Letter to Hip Hop Masses titled “Sincerely, Detroit”

Noted producer Apollo Brown drops a mega project titled Sincerely, Detroit. The project consists of 56 electrifying emcees such as Elzhi, V Stylez, Aztek The Barfly, Guilty Simpson, Boog Brown, Fatt Father, Illa J, Kid Vishis, Supa Emcee and many many more! That’s a monumental task to take on. However, the project was masterfully executed. The soundscape is diverse and rich in soulful melodic joints and hard hitting ones as well. The selection of emcees is stellar. The overall sound is outstanding!

My favorite joints are Dominance, Jacksons, Can’t Lose and In The Water. The entire album is awesome. What a dope way to showcase Detroit hip hop. Each emcee represented with eloquent wordplay barbaric flow, commanding cadences, and passion for the art. The chemistry of the collaborations was perfection. The Detroit hip hop scene collectively contributed heavy substance driven music and always delivers. Kudos to Apollo Brown and all the emcees on a hit project!

Apollo Brown had this to say about the album on his Instagram:

“I LOVE Detroit and everything it has to offer, especially the music. There’s a certain air of CONFIDENCE that one must have to make music here, among the best. It shows in EVERY beat, and in EVERY verse. “SINCERELY, DETROIT” is an album I’ve been wanting to make my entire career. The idea is to keep shining a deserving light on DETROIT HIP HOP, whether veteran or newcomer. The TALENT here is overwhelming, and I definitely want to thank all the 56 Detroit artists involved in making this project come alive. It was an UNDERTAKING, but we pulled it off. Not only that, the album exceeded my expectations. It’s BEAUTIFUL.”

Be sure to listen to Sincerely, Detroit. It’s a beautiful listening experience for a hip hop enthusiast.
