RLX Sets the Tone for “High Standards” In Breakout Single

Amidst an elite scene of established emcees, producers and crews out of Massachusetts, comes rising talent, RLX who dropped his solo debut single, “High Standards”. While the name may not be familiar unless you’re a local, RLX primarily started out as a producer, but also gets on the mic to drop rhymes. As the Lawrence native raps on this joint, he called upon MichaelAngelo to handle the soundscape, with the video shot by D Gomez. Just under a minute and a half long, RLX makes a great first impression with exceptional bars, while being filmed in various urban city scenes. Also worth checking out is the Estee Nack and Al Divino EP, Villains in Villas, which RLX produced, as well as his own project Phil Pockitts, both available on Bandcamp. With more projects and visuals to follow shortly, this is a name worth paying attention to and keeping in your radar.
