Brooklyn’s own Eddie Kaine debuts with sick new album Aruku Walk. The underground sensation has been making quite a name for himself. His crew The Walkers has a dope lineup of talent. Eddie Kaine puts it on display with this hardcore project featuring twelve turbulent tracks that feature hip hop legend Rome Streetz, Ty Farris, Spoda, Bub Rock, K Burns and Rim Da Villin.
The beat-smiths on this project are Wavy Da Ghawd, The Standouts and Don Carrera. They created a monster soundtrack to step to. The bar exchange is heavy on here! Hands down a cohesive body of work from the production, features, and art concept. Eddie Kaine delivers a lyrical masterpiece. What a great way to come out the gate!
I asked Eddie Kaine about how he selected the concept and name for his debut project and he responded:
I chose to name the project “Aruku Walk” because I knew some way some how I wanted to incorporate the fact that I’m “walking” on each track. I didn’t want to just title it “Walk” tho… so looking up the word in Japanese is where I got “ARUKU” so I felt the artwork should definitely be me as a Japanese Anime Cartoon. Though I never watched anime cartoons I did watch “The Boondocks” which is still an anime cartoon. And that’s the project in a nutshell.. non stop walking on each track!!
Aruku Walk is a well executed body of work! So be sure to secure your copy today.
