King Shampz Drops “Half a Bricc”

With so many projects dropping this year and so many new artists coming out, it’s not unusual to miss something that may have possibly fallen under the radar. I recently got put onto West Philly emcee King Shampz, who just dropped his latest single “Half a Bricc”. This is a serious head banger off of his upcoming mixtape, Road to Peru. The energetic track is produced by Shampz’s brother and frequent collaborator, Azzan. Shampz fires off lyrically with his grimey street bars over the neck-breaking soundscape.

Shampz and Azzan are believers of creating Hip Hop without jeopardizing the quality, or conforming to current hypes of trends. All Hail the King is the last tape Shampz put out, which was entirely produced by Azzan. I was able to listen to a couple of single tracks by Shampz which were “Arm & Hammer”, “Can’t Get Enough”, and “Money in Loreto”.

Road to Peru will be dropping in January and it will be great to hear more of what King Shampz has to offer musically. In the meantime, you can check out “Half a Bricc” below.
