Rome Streetz Delivers Another Dose of ‘Noise Kandy’

Capping off an impressive year, Brooklyn’s Rome Streetz drops the 2nd installment of his Noise Kandy series today. The six track offering is a straight Colombian brick for fiends of that lyrical 90’s New York raw. This includes a collabo track with grimy spitters, Illa Ghee and Agallah as well as Production from Vinyl Villain, Illah Dutch, The Historian, Loman, NCL-TM and Wavy Da Ghawd.

Though putting in that work through the last decade, 2018 was truly Rome’s break-out year with his full-length projects Streetz Keep Calling Me (which included beats by Camoflauge Monk and Sadhu Gold) and Street Farmacy (which was entirely produced by the UK’s own Farma Beats) as well as collabos with Sauce Heist, Rigz, Mooch, Daniel Son, Smoovth, Crimeapple and Jamal Gasol.

Also a strong believer in Rakim’s adage to “move the crowd” Rome Streetz is an adept performer who was a constant presence at live NY hip-hop shows in 2018 including shows with GriseldaFXR’s own Benny The Butcher and Eto.
