Ciphurphace Is Here to “Separate” Himself from the Rest

Unless you’re heavily into the indie cypher scene, the name Ciphurphace may not quite ring a bell yet. This microphone crusher from Arizona currently resides in New Jersey and has been featured on the Cypher Circuit platform.

“Separate” is the latest track off of the upcoming EP, Will Food for Rap, between Ciphurphace and New Mexico based producer, Per C. Wells. It features beautiful vocals and a verse from Chezale, also from Arizona. The song touches on current social issues over a positive, hopeful and soulful beat reminiscent of the 90’s and early 2000’s.

I appreciate the content and lyrics of this joint as it has meaning and a message behind it, which is something some artists tend to steer away from. In an industry where over saturation and redundancy has been a debatable topic of discussion, Ciphurphace is a hungry, energetic lyricist whose ability to bend English words and phrases is out of this world. He stays true to the art form and has passed the torch to his son, SunsereF, who is also an active emcee. Chezale holds her own, as she graciously flows about elevation of a higher self, joining forces to make a difference and self care.

“Separate the political from what is necessary / Separate the wack sh*t from the legendary” — Chezale

“The entire planet fails – they don’t really care what all the ballots tell Lady Justice needs to recalibrate her balance scales” — Ciphurphace

Will Food for Rap is scheduled for an early 2019 release. The EP will be available on all digital platforms, as is “Separate”, with physical copies to follow.

Ciphurphace has a catalog of projects available on bandcamp that are certainly worth checking out. And “Separate” is available now on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Music, Spotify, Tidal and all other digital platforms.
