Newcomer Joey Aich shares the visuals for his new 2-sided material titled ‘Sanity // Testimony’. The young emcee who was born and raised in a small suburb of Cleveland called Woodmere Village is slowly garnering some attention in his town (he was named one of Cleveland Scene Magazine’s “21 Acts To Pay Attention To In The New Year, 2017”) and shares a thought-provoking narrative that is both poignant and relatable (especially for other young artists trying to make their way up in this music business)
‘Sanity // Testimony’ is an introspective record that dwells on Joey’s struggles between 2016-2017. Sanity (first half) documents the struggles that came with the making ‘If Money Grow On Trees’ and turning music into a career. Testimony (second half) switches the struggles into building blocks that were instrumental in the recent successes.
Director Cameron Granger & Joseph Holbert help bring Joey’s raw thoughts to life with a minimalistic yet abstract aesthetic that takes the listener deep into the mix of things.
‘Sanity // Testimony’ serves as the outro from his recently released project ‘If Money Grew on Trees‘
