Premiere: PF Cuttin & O.C. Get Fans High off New ‘OPium’ Album + Exclusive Track

East New York, Brooklyn’s super producer/DJ PF Cuttin of Blahzay Blahzay and O.C. of the legendary hip hop collective D.I.T.C. have united for a fiery collaboration. The two dynamos cooked up an album titled ‘OPium’ consisting of 9 banging joints, plus instrumentals!

PF describes the artwork as raw, beast mode and uninhibited, much like an ape on Opium. I love the concept and the artwork that depicts the feel of the music.

O.C. delivers riveting bars so eloquently over PF’s wild and invigorating, yet unique production. The stand out tracks are “Sit Yourself Down”, “Searching”, “Beneath The Planet of the Apes” and the song “88”, which is currently in rotation on popular hip hop radio stations.

I had the pleasure of choppin’ it up with the homie PF about his ill production and concept behind the project. PF wasn’t feeling the music scene like he used to, especially after the passing of his friend and business partner — hip hop’s late great Sean Price (RIP). PF Cuttin produced a joint called “Beneath the Planet of the Apes” and “O.C. heard it and lost it”. He told PF don’t quit and recorded to the track. PF felt inspired and motivated after hearing O.C. on the track. Now we are blessed with another dope album from the concrete jungle. Hip hop enthusiasts, you must add this to your boom bap collection for 2018!

PF Cuttin gave us the greenlight to premiere “Sit Yourself Down” from the ‘OPium’ project, which drops tomorrow! Preorders are available now — CLICK HERE!
