NPR Brings the Legendary O.C. for an Engaging Jazz Infused Tiny Desk Concert (Music)

Hip-Hop royalty, O.C., stopped by the NPR studios for an incredible Tiny Desk Concert featuring classic cuts from his catalogue accompanied by live instrumentation from jazz outfit Soul’d U Out and an appearance by fellow D.I.T.C. member Lord Finesse.

It’s nothing but pure dopeness from there on as the audience gets chills from classic throwback cuts like “Return of the Crooklyn Dodgers”, “Time’s Up” and “Born 2 Live”. Of course, Lord Finesse comes through with his signature slick delivery on the D.I.T.C. cut for “Day One”. Performance-wise, O.C. hasn’t lost his edge one bit and his flow is untapered and sounds as golden as ever. This is definitely a performance to watch and rewatch for its high quality.

Just last month, we had the honor of sitting down with the legendary O.C. for an exclusive 1-on-1 interview (Click Here)
