Apathy Releases “I Keep On” With Pharoahe Monch & Pete Rock (Music)

Apathy Is bringing the Boom Bap to your door early, as he kicks off February blessing fans with another preview of what’s to come from his upcoming “The Widow’s Son” album. Ap linked up with 2 of hip hop’s elites, Pharoahe Monch and Pete Rock, for his latest collaboration track titled “I Keep On”.

Pete Rock goes in on the production as usual, and laces the hook on this epic banger with his iconic voice. So you already know this one’s for the books. What more can we ask for? Apathy and Pharoahe compliment each other’s flows with nothing but power packed bars, riddled with witty punchlines, while riding that traditional Soul Brother sound with elegance. Hip hop DJs are sure to keep this one in rotation.

This year is already on the right track with audible delights from hip hop legends. And ApPharoahe and PR have served up just that. I think true hip hop heads will appreciate this well crafted body of work. If the rest of the album is anything like this, brace yourself for an instant classic.

The Widow’s Son” will feature a slew of raw hip hop talent like the legendary DJ Premier, A.G., M.O.P., Buckwild, Celph Titled, Ryu, Diabolic, Stu Bangas, Locksmith and many more. This is a mind blowing line up. Be sure to mark your calendars when the album drops March 2nd. For now, click the link to the treasure chest and rock out this gem.
